VACLAV (VICTOR) ONDRICEK It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Vaclav (Victor) Ondricek on May 23, 2007 at the age of 76 years. Victor was born in November 1930 in the Czech Republic. He was predeceased by his parents and older brother. He is survived by his beloved wife of 43 years, Nadia; daughter Dela (Clarence); grandchildren, Stephanie and Sam; and his younger brother. Victor immigrated to Canada in 1968. He worked at a number of jobs including Microtel. He loved working with electronics. He was also an avid photographer always taking pictures of everyone around him. Victor was a kind and compassionate man who loved the simple things in life. He loved to spend time with his family, camping, playing board games, and telling jokes. More than anything, we will miss his wonderful sense of humour. In accordance with his wishes, a simple service was held on May 25, 2007 at Wheeler Funeral Chapel. The family thanks the staff at Riverview Health Centre and Drs. Smil and Latosinsky for their care. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to CancerCare Manitoba.
